# About Us

## Our Mission

The Kestra Medical Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing emergency response systems in underserved communities. We fulfill our mission by investing in initiatives and strategic partnerships that expand access to lifesaving education, preparedness, and care.

We define emergency response systems as the people, organizations, and resources that work together to improve outcomes during acute medical emergencies.

We define underserved communities broadly as those facing barriers to effective emergency response, where increased access to education, training, resources, or care has the potential to improve outcomes.
