The Kestra Medical Foundation is pleased to be able to provide grant funding to the following organizations that partner in our mission of supporting and advancing underserved communities.
Nick of Time Foundation
A long-time partner, the Nick of Foundation received grant funding to start Express Screenings, reaching underserved communities by providing their youth heart screening model on a smaller scale.
YMCA of Greater Seattle
The YMCA of Greater Seattle is the center of community for so many. The Foundation refreshed the Y's manikin inventory, ensuring that Y staff, volunteers and community members have up-to-date CPR training equipment. The manikins will also be used during the annual YMCA Healthy Kids Day, providing thousands of community members across King County the opportunity to learn Hands-Only CPR.
American Red Cross (Northwest Region)
The Kestra Medical Foundation was pleased to partner with the American Red Cross to launch a community wide hands-only CPR training day in Spokane. The education continued with many local businesses bringing hands-only CPR trainings to their workplace.
Resuscitation Academy
The Resuscitation Academy brings together EMS managers, directors and medical directors together for a world-class training to improve survival rates of sudden cardiac arrest. The Kestra Medical Foundation is pleased to provide funding to bring these key personnel to trainings.
